Bump Festival E-Scooters Corrals

Commissioned by the BUMP Festival in partnership with the City of Calgary, this project consisted of the creation of a site specific artwork for an e scooter corral located in the Beltline district of Calgary.

The illustration was developed from elements strongly connected to the local identity and landscape. The composition features Canada geese, a distinctive presence in the city’s urban daily life, and poppies, a significant symbol in Canadian culture representing remembrance, respect, and honor.

By integrating natural and cultural references, the artwork contributes to the visual landscape of the Beltline and expands the aesthetic potential of urban infrastructure through illustration. The project was part of a broader public art initiative bringing together artists based in Mohkinstsis and fostering dialogue between art, community, and urban space.
